A mum who navigated the hard nights first – then trained to help other families find their way back to rest.

I'm Malina, a Sydney mum and founder of Lullaby Lane Sleep Consulting. When my son was around 4 months old, we were hit hard by the 4-month sleep regression. My previously settled baby began waking every hour overnight and every 45 minutes during naps, often crying as he struggled to resettle. I found myself constantly searching for answers, at all hours of the night, trying every tip and trick I could find just to get us both some rest.
As his sleep patterns changed, I became deeply interested in understanding infant sleep. That curiosity quickly turned into a passion, and I began studying to become a certified sleep consultant while applying what I was learning to support my own baby.
Over time, not only did my son begin sleeping through the night again, but I also started helping other families who were in the same exhausting cycle of frequent night wakes and broken sleep. Seeing the difference better sleep made – not just for babies, but for parents' mental health and wellbeing – became incredibly meaningful to me.
Since then, I've made it my mission to support families who feel stuck in the thick of sleep deprivation, helping them find a clear, gentle path back to rest through Lullaby Lane Sleep Consulting.
